Adam Newsham was born in St. Louis MO in 1978 where he's lived his whole life. He began making film photographs right after high school in 1997. Since then he has amassed a rather large collection of photos and was just recently, within the past 4 years pressured by friends and family to get his stuff out there. " Im my own worst critic
and didn't really think my pics were all great but I guess some people are into them. I primarily use a Nikon 20/20 35mm camera with a 50mm and a 35mm lens that were built 1960's and were both used by my dad in Vietnam. I also do a lot of digital work with a Canon 7D and a Nikon D80 in the underground DIY music scene in St. Louis. I guess my favorite genre of photography would have to be street photography. I was really influenced by the mostly American street photographers of the 1930's-70's like Joel Meyerowitz, Walker Evens, William Eggleston, Stephen Shore, Berenice Abbot, Lee Freidlander ect."
